VENEER is an Italian electroacoustic duo consisting of Andrea Fabris on prepared bass drum and live electronics, and Giacomo Zanus on electric guitar and live electronics. The duo focuses on constructing patterns, gestures, and textures that blend together through a continuous succession of micro-dynamic and timbral variations, strongly tied to the characteristics of their respective setups.

Drawing from the sounds of non-idiomatic improvisation, VENEER's music is deeply evocative, merging a jazz-like interplay with minimalism and melodies that have a Folk-Rock flavor, while leaving room for vivid and recurring incursions of noise and glitch.
